I plodded to the kitchen to start dishes.
IV went out to the screened in porch with the dogs.
Wash, wash, clink, load.
"MAMA!" IV flung the door open and proclaimed with great flourish.
"I PAINTED THE DOGS!"
"Happy Saturday" Matty called from the living room.
We scrambled for dogs and kids but not before they ran amuck through the house, decorating the floors with paw prints and streaks.
Eli looked like an apache pony with handprints and polka dots. The red paint turned him a delightful shade of pink.
IV thought it was hysterical. And me? I thought it was pretty hysterical too. Can you imagine how awesome it was to look at the paint...and then look at the dogs. And then put the two together and - BAM! Chicken and Biscuits!
The last to receive a bath was the culprit. As it turns out, this was the first of three baths he would receive this Saturday.
I suppose that's why you wear a mustache though. Adds an element of mystery.
