The first thing I do in the morning? Besides drown myself in coffee?
I turn on the radio.
When my head hits the pillow at night? Rarely is there not a Pandora station on, lulling me to sleep.
I have a radio in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and my phone is never far from me. I can't sing to save my life but IV and I croon and dance and sway and twirl and belt it out into whisks and spatulas and turn a 20' x 10' kitchen into a ballroom most every night.
When I woke up on Valentine's Day morning I immediately sent Grace a text that said "The John Mayer Pandora Station is on and it's 6:30 am - Happy Valentines!"
Music and song defines so much of my life...memories of people, places, circumstances.
We live, laugh, sing, cry, write, cook and then start all over again. It seems.
