If there's one thing I have taken away from this crazy job I have, it's to not make excuses. Because on some people? They work. On OTHER PEOPLE? Get real.
When you make a mistake? Own it.
When you screw up? Admit it.
In an age where IV is starting to realize that saying "I'm sorry" fixes most things.
Throw sippy cup.
"Sorry mommy."
Break something.
"Sorry mommy."
Accidentally throw iPhone across Seawall and shatter the screen.
"Sorry mommy!"
Instead of saying "what was I thinking?!" I like to say "what was I learning that I will NEVER, EVER do again?!" - all part of growing up. Right IV?
