YOU'VE BEEN CHECKING ALL MY FACTS

I was inspired by the art hangers down the hallway at Trinity so, with a little wire, a few nails and a $0.79 pack of clothespins from Target, we created our own...

I selected a few of IV's more "ocean" themed art pieces, as well as his self-portrait from Summer program, to hang on the wire.

IV was thrilled - "I GET TO HANG MY ART MOMMY??!?!" he cried.

"Of course" I replied, thinking we would just hang a few.

Oh, but my little "if a little is good, then a LOT is BETTER" friend, took it to a whole new level:

I am literally sitting here laughing at my screen and this picture. The amount of artwork is pretty ridiculous, all precariously pinned to one another, glitters and glue and dinosaurs and baseballs and clothespins.

And what do you say? You don't deny art.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" the MKR used to always say.

My eye? My eye says we have a budding Jackson Pollack on our hands. An art gallery owner? A curator at the Smithsonian?

Or a future episode of "Hoarders."
