Say a prayer, light a candle, throw a Hail Mary.

Don't we all?

"Happiness is a choice" says my Grace.

And we are making CHOICES. Right now. Right. Now.

Yeah, it would be easier. And maybe that's what most people do: the easier.

It's easier to stay home. To not drive an hour and a half just so that you can wake up with his breath on the back of your neck and have the first prayer in your heart beg that you will never have to know it's absence.

It's easier to say no. To leave and walk (RUN) away from an ember instead of seeing if you can fan the flame and bring some light into your world. Into a lot of worlds, big and small.

It's easier.

But I am not easy, my friends. I am an onion.
